What’s the difference between Surebond SB-6000 and SB-1300? I have a 15 y.o. Unilock paver patio which I just replaced all the joints with Gator Maxx G2 polymeric sand a few weeks ago and I am looking for a sealer that will bring out the color of the bricks as if they were wet, but with no shine if at all possible.
SB-6000 has a wet look while the SB-1300 does not. Neither have a shine.
Thank you…but the question is will it make wet travertine paver more slippery?
It should not as it is a penetrating sealer.
this would be for around a pool…does this create a slippery surface when wet?
Yes, it is fine for a pool area.
Is this product safe to use on travertine pavers? Also, how long does it last?
Yes, about 2 years.
The bricks I would like to seal are handmade clay. They were somewhat rough to begin with, and have gotten more so with weathering and cleaning. Is SB-6000 appropriate for them? Will it leave a milky color if it pools in an are that I can’t sweep out?
Hello, wet look sealers will not dry evenly on clay bricks. Very “blotchy”.
Isn’t this advertised as a clay brick sealer?
I understand this is a wet look product does that also mean high gloss?
No gloss with this product. Wet look only.
